Services

The Respite Program is our hallmark outreach program to provide support and respite care to our children and their families in their homes or hospitals.

(Respite meaning a few hours of caring for a seriously ill child and providing rest for the caregivers.)

• Education for understanding and support of the seriously ill child and family needs.
• Grief Support Group for counseling with a certified bereavement counselor.
• Play, Art, and Recreational Therapy provided by networking with other children's organizations and ministering with their special children.
• Resource Center to assist parents in finding access to statewide and national children's services.
• Coordinate outings for our families with ill children in a stable medical condition. Outings include Zephyr's baseball games, Saints football games, and annual Easter and Christmas parties complete with gifts for each ill child and his/her siblings.
